Fundación para la Prevención y Tratamiento del Cáncer holds different workshops every first and last Wednesday of the month, aimed at women with cancer diagnosis which provides a different space to the treatment environment, social and personal, trying to give new (entrepreneurship, health care or hobbies). An average of 20 women attend each appointment, where they and their companions are welcome.
In addition, monthly donations of external breast prostheses, bras and wigs are made for women who are in the process of treatment for breast or cervical cancer. An average of 12 women attend annually. This process is achieved by the immense collaboration of our group of volunteers in Cali (Valentina Arias, Martha Arias, Julia Emma Sinisterra and Elvira Sinisterra, among others) and the continued support of American Breast Care.
