Partners for Cancer Care and Prevention’s programs in North America and South America continue to significantly increase patients’ chances of long-term survival, quality of life, and potential cure.
Abdominal Cancers Alliance
PFCCAP has assembled a network of people and organizations to connect patients to resources and lifesaving treatment options, improving the outcomes for patients and families of those with a variety of intra-abdominal cancers in advanced stages. This network is known as the Abdominal Cancers Alliance and its mission is to be the patient-led central hub for education and connections to resources available for abdominal cancers, including the lifesaving Cytoreductive Surgery and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (CRS/HIPEC) treatment option.
Breast and Cervical Cancer Program
PFCCAP’s inception program focuses on mitigating the obstacles women face in their breast and cervical cancer journeys by bridging the gap in cancer screening and treatment in Cali, Colombia. This work is alongside a Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccination program for female secondary school students to enhance cervical cancer prevention in the community and continued medical education programs for local medical professionals.
